The Electrician at Panda Water Tech Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work for our water and wastewater treatment systems. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the electrical components in our custom-engineered water solutions for clients across various industries.

Summary
The Electrician will be responsible for executing panel wiring, 3 phase wiring, and applying technical knowledge to the electrical systems of our water treatment plants. This position requires expertise in industrial electrical work with a focus on control panels, motors, and instrumentation connections. The ideal candidate will work with precision and attention to detail to ensure the safety and functionality of all electrical components.
At this position level:
- Performs electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work for water treatment systems
- Ensures compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Works under the guidance of senior engineers on complex projects
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute panel wiring according to electrical schematics and standards
- Install and connect 3 phase power systems for water treatment equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in control panels and equipment
- Install and connect instrumentation and sensors for monitoring systems
- Assist in the commissioning of new water treatment plants
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and compliance checks
- Document all electrical work performed and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all electrical operations
- Support service technicians during field maintenance activities
- Maintain inventory of electrical parts and components
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills
- Provide feedback on electrical system designs for improvement
Work Requirements
- Must be able and willing to work at manufacturing facility and client sites
- May be required to work in various environmental conditions
- Must be available for emergency repairs when needed
- Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment
Minimum Education
- Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical or related field
Job-Related Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical work
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in panel wiring techniques and standards
- Experience with 3 phase electrical systems and connections
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Understanding of control circuits and components
- Experience with motor controls and variable frequency drives
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems and instrumentation connections
- Troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment and procedures
- Understanding of industrial safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- Valid electrician license as per local regulations
- Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems preferred
