The Electrical Engineer at Panda Water Tech Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for our state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment plants. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation of our custom-engineered water solutions that serve industries across the globe.

Summary

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for panel wiring, 3 phase wiring, and applying technical knowledge to water treatment systems. This position requires expertise in electrical control systems for industrial applications, particularly for water treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will work closely with our design and manufacturing teams to ensure that electrical systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

At this position level:

  • Designs, implements, and maintains electrical systems for water treatment plants
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive water treatment solutions

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electrical control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Perform panel wiring and 3 phase wiring for various equipment and systems
  • Create electrical schematics and documentation for manufacturing and installation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in both manufacturing and field installations
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to develop integrated systems
  • Participate in the testing and commissioning of new installations
  • Support R&D efforts for new water treatment technologies
  • Provide technical guidance to service technicians and electricians
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Assist in training junior team members on electrical systems and standards
  • Conduct site visits to assess electrical requirements for custom projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and efficiency

Work Requirements

  • Must be able and willing to travel to client sites for assessments and installations
  • May occasionally be required to work extended hours to meet project deadlines
  • Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment as required

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

Job-Related Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, preferably in water treatment or related industries

Knowledge & Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of panel wiring and 3 phase electrical systems
  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and drawings
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming and automation systems
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Understanding of water treatment processes is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to interface with team members and customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Valid electrical license as per local regulations
  • Additional certifications in industrial controls or automation systems preferred
